Benches Placed In Play Area

On Saturday 27 September, three able bodied people from Trinity Church joined other local volunteers to assemble and place four benches out side the de Pracht Centre beside our church building.  This is in an area available to us for children to play and parents to mingle after services.

It was just a few hours work with planks, concrete forms and bolts in the fine autumn day with pleasing results.

The photo shows our contingent enjoying a bench.

An Indian Milestone Celebration

On Saturday 30 August a small milestone was marked and celebrated within our church community.  It was five years and about 50 gathering for what is referred to as ‘The Indian Cell’.  So time was taken on a Saturday evening on 30 August to tell the story, count the blessings and give God glory for all that has happened and the growth of fellowship.

Special honour was expressed to Helen and Bala who played a leading role in the foundation and nurture of the group.  They were individually presented with gifts prepared for them.

Council Away Day

On Saturday 6 September the Church Council spent a day away to grow as a team and look at some matters that would benefit from attention outside a monthly meeting.  We gathered at De Schaapskooi, a Christian owned facility in Vessem made available for retreats and away days.  The day was mild and calm.
