Creche

During every Sunday service from 10.30 am there is a Kidz Crèche available for children aged from 0 to 4 years.  A small team of volunteers led by Madeleen Wessels runs the Kidz Creche.  Two volunteers from the team supervise each session.  We aim to provide a welcoming, safe and friendly environment for these young children while their parents are worshipping in the main service.

In the crèche children can play, listen to a bible story or take part in a creative activity, suitable for their age, in accordance with the Child Protection Policy. This way church becomes a warm and welcoming place where even the smallest ones feel comfortable.

For these very young children the presence of a parent is sometimes very important. So parents are free to stay with their child if they want to. If it is necessary for a parent to stay, the parent could draw their child’s attention to the toys that are available and try to settle their child into the crèche before attempting to leave.

A suitable snack is provided for the children, if parents have no objection. However parents are free to provide their own individual snack for their child if they wish to.  A member of the team will give it to the child at an appropriate time.
