About Trinity Church Eindhoven

Trinity Church Eindhoven is an international English speaking church.  It was formed in 1988 through linking two existing English speaking congregations. Trinity Church is part of the global Anglican Communion and a chaplaincy within the Church of England’s Diocese in Europe.  While we function together in English other languages may be heard over coffee on a Sunday.  Similarly the people who gather from across the southern Netherlands and northern Belgium reflect many Christian traditions.  We seek to reflect something of this diversity in our pattern of life and worship.  As a church we are committed to openly receive those whom God send to us.

Services are held at 10.30am every Sunday morning at:

Pensionaat Eikenburg
Aalsterweg 289
5644 RE Eindhoven

There are also a number of groups which meet during the week and many events throughout the year. More than this, the people of the Church enjoy being together and supporting one another from day to day.

Whenever you come, you can be sure of a warm welcome…

Doctrine
What do we believe?

The Christian faith is a received faith handed down from previous generations of the Christian Church through the last two thousand years.  Whenever an individual wishes to check his or her views against a standard measure of the historic Christian faith we hold the Bible as being our supreme authority and several historic creeds as being important statements of our common faith as received from the apostles of Jesus Christ.

This is the standard approach of the Anglican Communion to doctrine and represents a faith held in common with most other historic denominations from the earliest times.  What is perhaps distinctive is our suggestion to anyone wanting to know our beliefs to listen to us pray.  This can take place on Sunday mornings but also through the body of prayers owned by Church of England.  What we pray and offer in worship is a good indication of what we believe.  To read more about our prayers consult the current edition of The Prayer Book entitled: COMMON WORSHIP, Services and Prayers of the Church of England.  You can do this in hard copy form or on line by going to:

Small groups
Most small groups are cells which meet regularly to share, pray and open up the Bible together so that relationships can grow, with God (up), between group members (in), and with the church and beyond (out). These relationships support every aspect of Christian life for the group members, 24/7 not just when they meet together.  The cell is a group open to receiving new members into these relationships and multiplying, as living cells do, to enable more growth both relationally and numerically.

Please visit the Small Groups page for details.
