Entering The Land Of The Gospel

Recorded on Sunday, December 6, 2009

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is very much about and part of the New Covenant established in Jesus during his first coming.  In the days before Christmas 2009 Francis takes time to look at how Jesus brought something John the Baptist predicted but did not know about in his own experience.  Looking at this helps us realise that Christians are called to live in the Grace and Holy Spirit empowerment of God released in Jesus.  Repentance of sin as preached by John the Baptist is preparation for this but not the substance of the Gospel.

Hope For Life

Recorded on Sunday, November 29, 2009

On the First Sunday of Advent in the lead up to Christmas, Francis looks at the nature of Christian Hope.  Yes Christian hope is different from other varieties and may rightly be part of every believer's life.  The key is recognising and accepting the basis for hope and knowing how to live in it.  This sermon is a primer to help us in hopeful living.

Christ The King, Experiencing The Sovereignty Of God Today

Recorded on Sunday, November 22, 2009
