What Are We Telling The Kids At Christmas?

Sermon of Sunday, December 12, 2010

Preacher: Francis Noordanus

Scriptures: Romans 10:11-15

Introduction:

Making use of children's art work (see attached PDF document) Francis drew out some of the features that characterize the artistic representations of 3,4 and 5 year old children from around the world.  With some appreciation of how hard they work to make sense of the world he then considered the mixed up blend of stories and images they are presented through December in the cause of Christmas.  He pleads for Christian parents to be clear about the telling the Jesus story amidst the images of Santa and other features of the season.  This message is best listened to with the PDF file open.  Duration: 20 minutes.
