First Sunday

Fourth Sunday

10:30 a.m.  : Informal Adult Service

Informal Adult Services. These services take a more contemporary approach to worship with extended musical worship supported by a band and a sound system.  While the basic shape is that of Morning Prayer as known in the Anglican Tradition the songs and approach to ministry resonate more with evangelical churches found around the world.  On the fifth Sundays of the month these include communion.  
 
While these services happen on even numbered Sundays there is also a rhythm within this pattern.
 
  • On second Sundays they are All-Age Services in which children, youth and the various shades of adult are offered an opportunity for joint worship as a wider church family.  This is often creative and something of a surprise.
  • On fourth Sundays the Informal Service is an adult event without communion.
  • On fifth Sundays of the year (quarterly) Informal services include communion.
Morning Communion Services. This is a middle of the road liturgical service of word and Holy Communion incorporating a blend of traditional and more recent music styles. These services take place on the first and third Sundays of the month.
 
All services conclude with a time of fellowship over coffee or tea. Or, for the impatient younger ones, a nice juice drink!
