Baptismal Testimony

Hi my name is Joyce, I was born and raised in a Seventh-day Adventist family and we honored the Sabbath and worshiped on Saturday. At the age of 13, I went to an Anglican founded high school where I joined the Christian fellowship in the school.

Later on, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. During that time, I understood that salvation was not about works of righteousness, for example, observing the Sabbath etc. as I had been taught, but a free gift from God and all I needed to do was to believe in Jesus Christ.

Finding The Design of God in Science

This is a testimony to glorify Our God.

I am undertaking a PhD in Biophysics — a subject I find very interesting but one which can often be a challenge to the faith of a Christian. Biophysicists try and sometimes succeed to understand the way the bodies of living things work by applying the laws of physics and mathematics and performing experiments. These living things can be animals, fish, birds, you and I, the tiny cells in our blood, even germs, and many other things.
